NUST Alumni conducts tree plantation drive

NUST Alumni Association (NAA) completed the plantation drive (with minimal representation from all constituents due to the COVID situation). Thanks to all the participants for representing alumni associations of NBS, CAE, EME, MCS, RIMMS, RCMS, SCEE, SCME, SMME, SNS and SEECS.
Dr Osman Hasan, Pro-Rector (ACAD) graced the occasion, planted the tree, and appreciated the efforts of the NAA/NUST family towards a noble cause.
The objective of the activity is to emphasize the members of the NUST family (students, faculty, and alumni) over the need for a massive tree plantation with the motto of “Plant a Tree and Plant hope for Mother Earth”.
Members of the NUST family who could not join in person are requested to extend the scope of NAA drive by planting trees at their colleges, homes or neighbourhood and make it ‘Sadqa-e-Jariah (continued charity)’ for them and their beloved ones (here and hereinafter).
NAA believes that the individual contribution of 40,000+ members of the NUST family will make a visible collective difference in the restoration of natural habitats, fighting the natural calamities and making a sustainable impact on our nation, country and coming generations.
