World Animal Day commemorated by UVAS

World Animal Day an International Day of Action for animal rights and welfare is celebrated annually on October 4th. University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) organized an event on World Animal Day. The Free Treatment Camp has been executed at UVAS Outdoor Hospital, Ravi Campus Pattoki and Mundeki village on 4th of October.
At 9 am volunteers reached UVAS, Ravi campus Pattoki where some team members executed the treatment camp at Outdoor hospital while the other members went with senior doctors to nearby village. Some animals were vaccinated. Symptomatic treatment was done of various animals of PPR. Deworming was also done. Around 70+ animals has been treated against various diseases.
